CREST1: You Can Do It! Making Special Education Law and the IEP Accessible and Logical: Allan Blume, M.Ed
Do you find IEP writing frustrating and challenging? Have you ever been in a meeting and someone says, “It’s illegal to___,” and you were unsure whether that was correct or not? Are you anticipating the changes that are coming to the IEP process in Massachusetts? This full day workshop will have the IEP as the primary focus; providing strategies, suggestions, and methods to make the process less frustrating and more logical. We will explore and embed critical elements of state and federal law that support this special education process. Participants should leave with a greater understanding of the IEP document, strategies that can be used and implemented immediately, and, have greater confidence accessing and using the laws and regulations to support ongoing work.
