BCBA1 Parent Training 101
This workshop will focus on assessing family behavior as a whole and breaking down each members role in the greater family dynamic. Discussions will surround facilitating behavior changes for the student as well as other members of the family. This will be a hands on breakout sessions with the purpose of designing appropriate interventions within the complex context of different family structures
BCBA2 School Refusal FBAs
This presentation will address the often complex assessment and treatment of school refusal behavior. Participants will learn about various assessment tools, function-based recommendations, and intervention strategies.

BCBA4 School Refusal FBAs
Participants will be able to describe the laws and legal decisions that link a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) to Functional Behavior Assessment, Positive Behavior intervention and Support (PBiS), and the relationship with Applied Behavior Analysis
Session 3 12:30-2:00
BCBA5 Networking
Participants will have an opportunity to discuss common challenges they have as a public school BCBA and share resources. All participants should bring an example of an “out of the box” intervention or skill acquisition program they have successfully implemented.
