Functions of Behavior – with a focus on pedagogical strategies that utilize principles of behavior analysis and allow for data collection and student progress to be monitored and changed as needed. Augmentative and Alternative Communication – Core Vocabulary. This would be presented by Valley’s own SLP, Laura Badger, and the target audience would be fellow SLPs, SLPas, Language based special education classroom teachers, etc. Presenter: Laura Badger
Transition Services – This would be presented by Valley’s own Transition Specialist, Karen Rowe, and the target audience being High School Special Educators who are involved in transition planning and develop transition plans, team chairs, out of district coordinators, liaisons, etc. Presenter: Karen Rowe
